"A Child of the World"
The more I worked on it, the deeper it went, the more emotions it evoked. Maybe because I remember that moment so well: this young boy running out of the woods onto the dirt road we were driving on.
Maybe it is the many stories being told by his face, his handmade helmet, his clothing. Maybe it is the fear, the hope, the curiosity, the shear innocence that is being run over by the harsh realities of daily life.
It is moments like this that make me so very grateful for the life I have been so lucky to live. And it is moments like this that remind me I, we all, can do better. We all can do so much more to change this world to be a better place...... Uganda
