The Ship and the Seagull

Bronze Award, 2021 Epson International pano Awards. While on an evening stroll, these fantastic light beams broke through the dense cloud cover, perfectly illuminating the ship on the horizon. If you look carefully to the right of the frame, you will see the silhouette of a seagull , perfectly illuminated by the sun reflecting off of the ocean.

Scripps Pier

Scripps Pier is probably one of the most photographed piers, and with good reason. No matter what time of day, lighting or tide level conditions you encounter, this pier always finds a way to draw you in. On this particular day, the patterns in the sand were simply stunning.
